What is the Oregon Lodging Association?
OLA is a trade association representing the lodging industry in the state of Oregon.  Members consist of hotels, motels, bed and breakfasts, resorts, recreational vehicle parks and lodging-related businesses.  OLA was formed in 1946 and is affiliated with the American Hotel & Lodging Association (
AH&LA) in Washington, DC.

What does the Oregon Lodging Association do?
OLA promotes the lodging industry in Oregon through lobbying, education and information.  OLA lobbies at state and local level to ensure that laws, regulations and taxes are reasonable.  OLA also conducts an annual convention and trade show in the fall as well as educational seminars held in the spring.  OLA receives its funding from membership dues, income from advertising sold in the Where to Stay in Oregon guide and the monthly newsletter Inn Oregon and the annual convention and trade show.

What are the benefits to OLA members?
In addition to lobbying efforts to protect the lodging industry in Oregon, OLA maintains endorsed member programs to provide it's members with methods of reducing operating expenses and retaining quality employees. OLA also publishes the "Where to Stay in Oregon" guide to promote its members to travelers visiting Oregon. Members are also listed on-line with the Oregon Tourism Commission website.

What does it cost to be a member of Oregon Lodging Association?
Annual dues start at $175 for lodging properties and $80 for RV Parks. Allied member dues (vendor and supplier) are $175 a year. For more information please contact us.
